Welcome to Fishbourne Drummers. We are a friendly bunch of people who meet for a regular Friday night session to drum in the traditional styles of West Africa.

Sessions are led by Tony Montana, who is well recognised in African Drumming circles and we regularly have visiting teachers.

Our rhythms mainly come from Guinea and Gambia, but we also play rhythms from other countries in the region. Members regularly attend African drumming events in the region and the group is constantly adding new pieces to its repertoire.
